Inspiration Week 2017

The Inspiration Agenda is the free brokerage service offered by the National Careers Service, bringing employers and organisations together with state schools and colleges to inspire young people about the world of work. The Inspiration Agenda Team work to deliver a range of activities to support young people and since October 2014, the London team have supported over 30,000 students from 128 schools and colleges.

This year, the Inspiration Agenda Teams in London, the South West and the West Midlands will be celebrating their successes and hosting a range of activities and events across one week in September – Inspiration Week!

To celebrate Inspiration Week, the London team will be facilitating activities across the Capital, including:

• An insight talk at a West London College delivered by British Airways, discussing the opportunities available with the airline;
• A huge Employer Celebration Event taking place at the Grosvenor Hotel in Central London, to commemorate the successful partnerships built over the last 3 years and to establish new ones;
• A careers workshop at a North London school delivered by the Chartered Insurance Institute, helping young people to understand and manage “risk”;
• A visit to a Carillion site, giving students from an East London school the chance to see a real place of work.
