About the Role
£46,300 - £54,310 + Car or Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Extensive travel will be required within the South East region - must have good access to M3 and bottom of M25.
Can be based in the South London region.
What will I be doing?
Ensure that the appropriate areas of the business have manpower, recruitment, remuneration, employee relations and training/development plans in place
Ensure the local operational/support management are aware of appropriate authority levels and HR Policies and Procedures
Play an active role in collective bargaining and other trade union negotiations to ensure that agreements are reached within SUEZ R&R UK guidelines and achieve operational needs
Contribute to and play an active part in the recruitment of staff ensuring that best practice is adhered to and that the most suitable candidates are employed.
Ensure that the performance of all employees is effectively managed ensuring that under-performance is addressed and excellent performance is recognised.
Ensuring that the Workforce System is fully utilized by self and operational teams as laid down in HR Policies and Procedures.
Completing any other duties/ projects that are reasonably requested in the scope of the job role.
What are the Requirements?
CIPD Level 5 or above qualification or appropriate degree/higher
•Demonstrative experience in providing generalist support to a business
•Has worked in a multi site business
•Has led employee relations related processes (e.g. disciplinary meetings, appeals, grievances)
•Demonstrable experience in managing generalist HR function including personnel
•Multi organization / HR department experience
•Experience of building and managing relationships with more senior staff within the organisation
•An experienced project manager/leader
