Description:

  • Assist the UK PR & Marketing team with 90 day plan, creating yearly goals, tracking progress of those goals and presenting results
  • Communication, tracking and distribution of PR & Marketing efforts and results
  • Participate in some Marketing, PR and Operational meetings
  • Get involved in partner meetings
  • Alongside the Content Team, maintain and update imagery on ICE Portal, shared drives and across all channels
  • Respond to, coordinate and track influencer, media stays and filming enquiries
  • Maintain, update and audit the hotel Content Matrices alongside the Content Team
  • Coordinate and deliver the day to day hotel and sales activity, i.e. collateral, digital updates, ESG initiatives, social content and presentations for all segments (B2C, B2B, M&E).
  • Update and audit the Radisson, hotel and restaurant standalone sites
  • Working closely with the company’s wider Marketing Team to deliver marketing activities and ensure all messaging and initiatives are in line with the Brand’s strategy and standards
  • Providing overall support where/when required
  • Support and assist on photoshoots, filming and/or various other fun content shoots  
  • Support the Restaurant & Bars Marketing Team
  • Support the Digital Experience team
  • Provide content and ideation for all channels

•About the role
We’re looking for a Communications Executive to support SSP UK &Ireland’s internal and external communications for our corporate functions, including but not limited to environment, social and governance (ESG) and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), as well as internal communications for our leadership and head office functions including HR. as the leading travel food experts, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving engagement across our colleagues and also work on diverse campaigns to enhance our reputation and build awareness among B2B and consumer media. As a new position, you’ll be able to grow with the job.

•What you’ll be doing:

•Support the delivery of the UK, Ireland and Netherlands communications strategy with a focus on corporate comms, across internal and external activity, as well as exposure to social media

•Draft press releases and associated internal comms, liaising with internal and external stakeholders where needed and pitch these into media

•Draft internal communications to drive engagement and excitement across the business on key priorities, including People topics, executive announcements, technology and change comms 

•Support the social media team with posts where required focused on corporate activity

•Support with internal communications for our leadership team, as well as internal conferences and events

•Draft media Q&As and statements

•Work with the wider comms team to maintain a calendar of activity

•Maintain a database of key media contacts

•Compile monthly coverage reports

•To be successful in this role, you will need:

•At least one year’s experience in communications or a degree in communications, journalism or a related field

•Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

•The ability to multi-task amid and work to tight deadlines

Confidence to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders and pitching to media
