The TfL Apprenticeship & Careers Event is aimed at people aged 16-25 searching for a quality apprenticeship.
The aim of the evening is to help attendees access opportunities with Transport for London in a way that’s fun and to help those struggling to break down the barriers holding them back from starting the career of their dreams.
Attendees will be able to:
- Apply for 100’s of vacancies across 24 apprenticeship pathways, many of which with low or no minimum qualification requirements
- Meet other people going through the same challenges
- Build confidence by meeting employers & find out about their opportunities
The evening includes presentations from youth-friendly and disability confident employers, informal networking sessions with HR Managers in a fun and relaxed setting and performances from other young people, which will include dance, music etc., plus free food & refreshments
Attendees will also be able to experience what it would be like to be a "real-life James Bond", by taking up opportunities to have sessions with Freeformers to do coding, social media, cybersecurity, ideation, prototyping, creating web pages etc.
If you have a disability and request assistance before the event, staff will do their best support you. However, as staffing numbers cannot be guaranteed, attendees with particular requirements are advised to bring a support worker, assistant or a friend/family member along in order to get the most out of the day.
Attendance at this event requires a ticket. For more information, or to register to attend, visit the Eventbrite page.
