Rework

London Borough of Wandsworth

Skilled engineers and trainees refurbish washing machines, fridges, cookers, microwaves and other household electrical goods to the highest safety standards. Appliances that would otherwise be scrapped, sent to recycling, or consigned to landfill, are returned to full working order and given a new lease of life. The refurbished electrical goods and furniture are then sold on to charity retailers in London and further afield.

Rework also sell domestic appliance parts, as well as customer returns from quality furniture retailers like John Lewis.

Improving people's prospects at REWORK

The trainees at the workshop are all people who have been on long-term job seekers allowance. The workshop employs them as apprentices in electrical engineering and maintenance, giving them the opportunity to gain experience and the skills necessary for a new career.
