Celebrating Partnerships: Inspiration Week 2017

Celebrating Partnerships: Inspiration Week 2017

The Inspiration Agenda is a small part of the National Careers Service, designed to bring employers and organisations into schools and colleges to inspire young people as they choose their careers. The Inspiration Agenda in London has been running since October 2014 and has helped over 30,000 young people from 128 schools and colleges to find out about the world of work.

To celebrate the successes of the Inspiration Agenda, Prospects is hosting Inspiration Week from 25 to 29 September in London, the South West and the West Midlands.

In London, the team will be facilitating activities throughout the week across the Capital, including an insight talk delivered by British Airways at a West London college, a careers workshop delivered by the Chartered Insurance Institute at a North London school and a visit to a Carillion site with students from an East London school.

On 27 September, employers and organisations who have partnered with the service over the last three years will attend an event at the Grosvenor Hotel in Central London, to celebrate successful partnerships and achievements.

Attendees will be able to hear about the last year in Inspiration from participating employers and schools, and will have the opportunity to take part in a panel discussion featuring representatives from Google, Pinnacle Power and the NHS.
