Street League are the UK's leading Sports and Employability organisation. We support 16-30 year olds into employment, education and training. As a youth sports charity, we use sport to engage young people, as well as teach them the key life and work skills they need to move into sustainable employment. Our award-winning programmes operate in 14 cities and 38 local communities in England and Scotland. In the presentation we will be sharing our Street League programme, job opportunities and Functional Skills course that is tailored for those who did not achieve their Maths and English GCSE grades.

- Must have access to Zoom and MS Teams (can be downloaded)
- Must be able to navigate computers and applications
- Must be committed to the full length of the course
- Registration process (online application) will take approximately 30 minutes – ensure all relevant documentation is to hand
- They will be required to undertake an English and maths initial assessment
- New claims will have to have their first UC statement payment BEFORE applying for the course
Capital City College Training
The Presentation will cover CCCT's offer to 16-24 NEET's called Bounceback - It will show how the programme can provide IAG to support young people get back on track whether they are looking for work, getting back into education, an apprenticeship or traineeship.
CCCT can work with candidates who live within a London geographic postcode and deliver outreach in the 12 Central London Boroughs.

From 13 November 2020, candidates applying to join the Met as a uniform Police Constable on our Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) or Degree Holder Entry Programme (DHEP) entry routes must meet the London Residency Criteria. That means you must have lived or studied in London for a minimum of three out of the last six years at the point of application. This covers the MPS policing boundaries.
Exemptions to the London residency criteria are in place for: Met Police Staff, Met Special Constables, Met Volunteer Police Cadets, Met Volunteers, and Officers transferring from other Police Services. Current and ex-military personnel are exempt from residency criteria in-line with our commitment and support of the military covenant. Applicants to our Detective Constable Degree Holder Entry Programme are exempt from the London residency criteria.
You must also have lived in the UK for three consecutive years immediately prior to application (If you’ve lived abroad due to serving in the British armed forces or on UK Government Service, you’re considered to have been resident in the UK).

Catch 22 delivers high quality tailored employability programmes that equip hard to reach individuals with the support they need for a path to sustainable employment. Join this Q&A Session to learn more about the Horizons employability programme. Horizons supports people facing either unemployment or underemployment; where work is either low paid, unstable or without opportunities to progress. The programme is anyone with a barrier to work living in London. Catch 22 has programmes across the country but Horizons is based in London.
Maximise Potential Skills
Maximise Potential Skills will discuss the apprenticeships they currently offer.
PeoplePlus, the largest provider of skills support for the unemployed, and National Careers Service will talk through the jobs and training opportunities available in the West Midlands and London. This online event will showcase all of the potentially life changing options available:
- traineeship programmes which combine real life work experience with the opportunity to gain up to three new qualifications
- 6 month job placements which are part of the Government’s KickStart scheme
- shorter training opportunities with real jobs at the end
- flexible distance learning training and qualifications on offer for anyone who is looking to upskill and progress in their chosen career.
PeoplePlus works with over 1700 employers, all of whom have job opportunities ready and waiting. This session will be a short 30-minute overview for all 18–24-year-olds who are looking to progress to the next stage of their employment journey.
There will be the option at the end to ask any questions you may have and get signed up to one of these exciting opportunities.
To be eligible, you must be 19 years old or over, have lived in the UK for at least 3 years and be eligible to work in the UK, and be unemployed or earning less than £18,135 per year.
