Between 2014 and 2024, the tourism industry needs to recruit 1.3 million people. 319 million jobs are supported by the Travel and Tourism sector. This is 10% of global employment. In a recent article for Morrisby, Helen Janota explored the future of work looking at what jobs and careers will be in demand over the next decade and beyond. Advances in technology such as automation, digitisation and artificial intelligence (AI) are creating new and emerging jobs and careers.
