Adults can do apprenticeships too!

National Careers Service London

Over 150 West London residents were able to speak with more than 20 training providers and employers offering apprenticeships and live job opportunities across London at Adult Apprenticeships – Ealing, an event organised by the National Careers Service London on Monday 22 January 2018 in Ealing Town Hall.

Many of those attending were given extra support by an experienced National Careers Service Adviser, who discussed apprenticeships as routes into successful careers and raised awareness of the variety of schemes on offer. Over 35 people met with London Careers Advisers to discuss their options. Arjoon A said “amazing service – useful knowledge to help with career”.

Exhibitors from Ealing Council were pleased that there was a lot of interest in their council schemes and open vacancies and Skills Training UK commented that the event was very helpful and attending learners from the Ealing Centre really enjoyed the experience.

One attendee, who came to the event looking to change her career, was pleased that she was offered interviews with 2 exhibiting employers and remarked that the event was a “great experience”.
